iThandimbvelo works in two markets. In Canada we focus on residential solar — installation, battery and backup, maintenance and monitoring — for homeowners in Ottawa and the surrounding region. Our founder, Cleopatra Masinga, is based here, and the same hands-on work informs how we specify and support systems in South Africa.

HOW WE WORK
An assessment first.
Then a straight answer.
Every job starts with looking at the property — roof, orientation, shading, consumption and what you want out of it. If solar is not the right call for your home, that is a useful answer too, and we would rather give it than sell you a system that disappoints.

iThandimbvelo (Pty) Ltd is registered in South Africa, where the business began and where we deliver commercial and institutional solar with vetted local technical partners. Our founder lives in Canada and runs the residential work here.
It is one company, and we would rather say that plainly than present two unconnected faces. Scope, roles and who is doing what get confirmed in writing before any work starts.

Electrical connection work in Ontario is carried out by appropriately licensed electrical contractors. We confirm who is doing that part, and under what licence, for every job.
Residential scope
Our Canadian work is homes. We are not presenting a commercial or utility-scale track record in this market, because we do not have one here.
